How to get started

So you’re ready to start nudging, but not sure how? On this website, we’ve only dipped our toes into the topic of nudging and behavioural economics, but if you want to dive right in, why not start by finding out more with the following resources? These links, publications and concepts share the latest thinking and developments on nudging and behavioural science techniques.

Another good starting point are the examples we’ve collected of nudges in action from around the world, in the menu on the left. Browse the examples to see how nudges have been applied to achieve better gender equality in a variety of situations.

However, we believe that the best way to start designing a nudge is to first make sure you understand your constituents and the contexts that they operate in. That way you understand what kind of nudge will be most effective, and where to nudge to make the most impact.
